2026 BY-LAW ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Summer Employment Opportunity
The Town of Wasaga Beach is now accepting resumes for summer seasonal employment (May until September 2026) for the position of Bylaw Administrative Assistant.

By-Law Administrative Assistant is responsible for: providing administrative support to the By-Law Department by serving and educating visitors on By-Law related matters and counting coin from parking meters.

Qualifications: 
  • Preference will be given to those registered in a full-time secondary/post-secondary program, in the next academic year (recent graduates may be considered);
  • Administrative experience in a busy office environment preferred;
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills with an ability to prepare correspondence and work with staff and the general public in a professional and discretionary. Mathematical and organizational skills, with an ability to multi-task priorities and work independently required;
  • Strong attention to detail, customer service, interpersonal, documentation, mathematical and organizational skills, with an ability to multi-task priorities and work independently required;
  • Demonstrated computer abilities utilizing Outlook applications and Microsoft Office, experience in Access considered an asset;
  • Able to provide an appropriate criminal records check and drivers’ abstract upon hire.
  • Ability to lead and work with contribute positively to a service oriented team.

Hourly Range: $18.50-$20.01; 35 hours/week
